2″ Quad VTRs and Heads

Ampex VR-1200 Quad VTRs, including the pictured Ampex VR-1200B QUAD #3-With rare NEC NTC-10B TBC

Heads include two Mark X assemblies we believe are refurbished but not used.

Others include Mark X assemblies in varying conditions, likely refurbishable.

There are spare VR-1200 chassis and boards, some in the “Shelf” section.

Much of the equipment seen was used in transfer activities, but has been unused for several years.

All items sold as-is, where-is. Inspections can be arranged by appointment.

1″ Type C

Ampex VPR-3s with either Ampex stock or ABC Network style panels, Zeus or TBC-7 or TBC-6 Timebase Correctors, over bridges with monitoring, Ampex VPR-6 with TBC-7, Sony BVH-3000, rare RCA-TH-900-badged Ampex VPR-3 with TBC.

Parts include VPR-3 and VPR-6 scanner assemblies, VPR-3 air compressors, supply and take-up motors, and more.

There are some VPR-3 or VPR-6 spare items in the “Shelf” section.
